Key Stage 4 enjoyed a trip to London in October to support their GCSE English studies. Our annual trip to The Globe gives the learners a chance to see Shakespeare's world in a way we could never show in a classroom. It is a great way to inspire excellence and make learning real. The learns travelled by train to Kings Cross station and experienced the tube, a first for some before catching the Uber Clipper to travel up the Thames, a first for all.
The play we watched was A Comedy of Errors and set in the traditional mediaeval manner, learners were surprised that there was some interaction between the actors and the crowd. A great day to inspire our learners both academically and in building skills for adult life.
