Information for referring schools and local Authorities
Who can attend the Academy
Any student can access the Academy if they have the permission from the school that they are currently attending. Typically students are referred to Coritani if they are a school refuser, have a medical condition that prevents them from attending school or if their behaviour is preventing them from achieving effectively in mainstream education.
How do I place a student at the Academy
Students can be admitted to the Academy through direct referral from a school. Just drop us an email or give us a call.
Students can also be placed through the North Lincs Fair Access and Inclusion panel meetings.
Students can be admitted on a short term, part time or full time basis. All students will be dual registered at Coritani Academy with attendance at school and academic achievement becoming the responsibility of the Academy.
We offer bespoke packages of learning for all short term placement students. These can be negotiated with staff at the Academy.
6 Day Exclusion Provision
6 day exclusion placements are available at Coritani and we also offer a room rental service for schools wishing to work with students within calm and welcoming learning environment.
Taster session for students considering a placement at the school are available free of charge. Please contact the Academy for further information.
