Empathy Week brought the academy together to celebrate kindness and understanding. A large empathy tree was created in the foyer, with segments carefully cut and decorated by the KS2 and KS3 learners with each piece representing a unique contribution to the theme of empathy. Teachers and learners wrote messages of gratitude on leaves, expressing thanks for acts of kindness witnessed throughout the week. These leaves were then placed on the tree, creating a beautiful visual representation of the collective compassion within the academy community. The activity fostered connection, promoted kindness, and highlighted the importance of empathy in everyday school life.
